Mira Rajput & Shahid Kapoor Name Their Son Zain Kapoor

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput, who welcomed a bonny baby boy in their lives on September 5, have named their little munchkin. Taking to social media, Shahid announced his little man’s name and thanked his for the wishes. The couple have named their son Zain, an Arabic word which means beauty. He wrote, “Zain Kapoor is here and we feel complete. Thank you for all the wishes and blessings. We are overjoyed and so grateful. Love to all.”

Congratulating Shahid and Mira, Abhishek Bachchan replied, “Many congratulations to Mira, Misha and you. God bless the little one.”



As soon as Shahid announced the name on social media, his fans couldn’t stop gushing over it. Mira and Shahid welcomed their 2nd baby on September 5 at Hinduja Hospital, Khar.

Shahid Kapoor’s father also expressed his joy over the arrival of new member in the Kapoor family. While talking to Republic TV, the actor said, “I am very delighted that a new bundle of joy has come to our house. A baby being born in any house is a matter of sheer joy and excitement. Similarly, it is a moment of joy for our family and as the grandfather of the newborn, I am delighted and very proud of my family. I wish Shahid and Mira all the very best and many congratulations.”

He also told Mumbai Mirror, "It’s the most delightful thing that can happen to any family. Shahid’s family is now complete. God bless all of them. We are thrilled about the new arrival.”
